Providing housing that's accessible and affordable.

Today in South Carolina, there’s an extreme shortage of housing that’s attainable and available for extremely low income renters. We aim to change this. The first step of our bold Live Oak initiative includes the building of 200+ affordable housing units in innovative mixed-use, mixed income settings. Neighbors might include first responders, teachers, food service workers, those in healthcare and more, with offerings such as classes, programming and mentor opportunities. It’s a new and exciting way to truly build community, and it’s creating stable neighborhoods where people work, live and play.

 We reach and teach.

Our model is one that works, and part of our focus is mentoring other organizations that share our dedication to creating more attainable housing across the state. And not just in a strategic planning way. We’re creating partnerships that support all aspects of this work.
